This year I turned 30. Although many parts of my life could be improved, I’m happy to say that I’m in a healthier, less stressful time of my life compared to my 20’s. That decade was full of soul-searching, exploration, and understanding who I am. I don’t think I’m done, but all the ambiguous things (my values, what I want out of life, etc…) have more or less fallen into place and are no longer as nebulous as before.
There isn’t much I want to say other than, this post is really just to kick off the habit of writing publicly. This has been a long-term goal of mine which has constantly been pushed back for fear of other people’s critiques.
But I don’t care anymore. Turning 30 has shown me that every opportunity is a moment to grow and learn. Sharing my thoughts online is scary. That’s okay. I’ve always embraced failure and things that scare me. Those moments are more beneficial to me than when things come naturally to me or are easy.
Expect various subjects to come to this blog – technical writing, cat photos, adventure posts, things that I generally enjoy. With powerful AI systems on the horizon, I want to contribute to the small web / indie web. We NEED more human content, free of generative AI.
Thanks for reading.
